How to Use CLO3D Design to Get Pre-Sales Before Your First Fashion Production Run

Many new brands are stuck in a Catch 22 situation. Most manufacturers want a minimum order of 300 units. You need funds to pay for the 300 units. You need sales to get the funds. You need a product to get the sales. You don't have a product yet.

One option- sell it before you make it!

Where this works well:

Corporate and branded apparel is the obvious one — companies ordering uniforms or event merchandise are used to approving designs beforeproduction. But it also works for:

— Wholesale pitches where buyers want to see the line before committing

— High-end products where the buyer needs to approve before you invest

  in expensive materials

— Event merchandise where the organizer needs sign-off before you go

  anywhere near a factory

— Anyone who needs a yes before they can afford to make the thing

Why it actually closes orders:

The render has to be good. A mediocre 3D model won't get you a PO. But a properly built CLO3D mockup — right fabric drape, accurate construction, real proportions — is convincing enough that buyers make real decisions from it.

The other thing worth knowing: the 3D model is built from the same sewing pattern your manufacturer uses. So what the customer approves is what actually gets made. Which is a nice thing to be able to say.
