What does a tech pack cost?
All prices are per garment. Every tech pack includes a design consultation, technical flat sketches with two rounds of revisions, and full construction and measurement specs.

WHO MAKES YOUR TECH PACK
I'm Tatyana Mikhaylova, a technical fashion designer with over 10 years of experience taking apparel and accessories from concept to production. I work in Adobe Illustrator and CLO3D and produce tech packs across activewear, swimwear, kidswear, outerwear, denim, handbags, and accessories.
I work with clients directly - no junior designers, no outsourcing. Every tech pack on this site was made by me.
I am based in the Bay Area, California.

Common Questions
How much does a tech pack cost?
Tech pack pricing depends on garment complexity. Basic garments like t-shirts, tank tops are $400. Most garments — pants, sweatshirts, dresses, blouses and kidswear — are $600. Complex garments such as denim, blazers, outerwear and swimwear are $800–$1,000. Handbags are $1,000, and other accessories like backpacks, duffles and diaper bags start at $1,500. Adding a CLO3D 3D model at the same time saves $75–$500 versus buying the two separately.
How long does it take?
Garment tech packs take 2–3 weeks. Handbags and accessories take 3–4 weeks.
How do payments work?
50% upfront to begin, 50% on completion.
What do you need from me to start?
Whatever helps me understand your design — rough sketches, reference images of a similar garment with notes on what's different, or a sample garment. It doesn't need to be polished. I'll ask questions throughout to make sure I've got it right.
How do revisions work?
Revisions happen during the technical sketch phase, where changes are quick and cost nothing to make. By the time I build the final tech pack, we've already agreed on every detail — the consultation call and my questions throughout the process are designed so nothing is left unresolved at the end.Your tech pack is also delivered as an editable Excel file that you own, so you're never waiting on me to change a measurement or swap a trim.
Who owns the files?
You do. Full ownership of every file transfers to you once final payment is complete.
What if my factory has questions?
I'll answer them, free of charge. That's part of every tech pack.
