Meet Tatyana — Founder of TM Tech Packs
I'm Tatyana, a technical fashion designer based in Menlo Park, California.
I founded TM Tech Packs to give fashion startups and emerging brands access to the same level of technical expertise that established brands take for granted.
My focus is simple: detailed, accurate tech packs and 3D designs that give your manufacturer everything they need — and give you the best possible shot at a successful first sample.
My Background
I hold a degree in fashion design and spent 10 years working in design and production with brands right here in the Bay Area. That experience — working directly with manufacturers, solving real production problems, and understanding
what factories actually need — is what I bring to every project.
When I went independent, I made a deliberate choice: stay small, stay focused, and do the work myself. Every tech pack and 3D design that comes out of TM Tech Packs is created by me — not outsourced to a junior designer or a remote team. That's not something most technical design services can say.
What I Love Working On
I specialize in unique and complex products — the ones that require real problem solving, not just filling in a template. Technically demanding garments like swimwear, outerwear, structured accessories, and anything with unusual construction
are where I do my best work.
But beyond the technical side, the brands I work best with share something in common: they know exactly who they're designing for. They have a clear focus, a defined niche, and a specific target customer in mind. That clarity makes
every technical decision easier — and it shows in the final product.

A Recent Client Story
One of my favorite projects was working with a swimwear founder who kept getting terrible samples back from her manufacturer. After two frustrating rounds of sampling, she realized the problem wasn't her manufacturer — it was her tech pack. It was missing critical construction details that swimwear requires, and the manufacturer was left guessing on the most important specs.
We started from scratch. Within three weeks, she had a complete, detailed tech pack built specifically for swimwear construction — plus a CLO3D 3D model and digitized sewing pattern she could send directly to her manufacturer. For the first time, she could see exactly what the swimsuit would look like before a single stitch was sewn. Her next sample came back nearly perfect — one minor fit adjustment and she was ready for production.
That's what a great tech pack actually does. It doesn't just document your design — it protects your time, your money, and your vision.
